lol yea it looks like that huh. That's my buddies house, it was a guest parking, but I make sure I stay away from other cars because I know these people here don't know how to park or get in or out of there car.

Shoot later in the day, your sunlight is super harsh right now. Take those shots over again an hour before dusk and you will net far better results.

I saw bad grain in one of them, not sure how the heck you got that to happen. No reason for it with as bright of a day as this was.

You'd be surprised the things I could do. And actually those pics were taken yesterday at lik 530 600 at night.

5-6 is not dusk. they call it the golden hour for photography for a reason. 1 hr after sunrise and 1 hr before sunset.

Also, notice the shots where the car was good and rich in color were when you didn't have direct sunlight landing behind the car. The camera metered the car, not the background, so the back ground got blown out. If the reverse had happened, the car would have been dark and the backround nice and rich. Not sure what your shooting with, but most DSLR's allow a several metering types, here it would have been best to use an evaluative meter of the whole frame so everything was taken into consideration.

Anyhow, watch the surroundings, when you have the car in indirect light, but things in the background are being hit directly by sunlight, you will never net high quality picture. Those items in the direct will get blown out and lose their color. Greens turn to tainted yellows and whites wash out.

Thanks Erin. I got lost in most of that. I really need to get like a lesson in taking pictures. I figured I should read or get a lesson in snapping shots.
