D.C. Shots & Macro Shots (New Lens)


Went to DC this weekend. The Cherry Blossom festival was still going on but the blossoms were long gone

Anyways...I decided to visit the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and the World War Memorial. Hope you guys like them.

All the DC photo's were taken with my Canon 28-135mm & all the Macro flower pictures were taken with my new Sigma 105mm f/2.8 Macro lens.

The flower pictures aren't from DC...they were just taken from here around the house. Let me know what you guys think.

Wow Troy, thats some really good pics. I love the one with the memorial and the rose, the pic of the flowers budding, and the squirel(sp).

Your macro shots are super good troy. Not one shot in there is poor. You got some great ones.

Lol, I actually was thinking about that. I'm also going to frame the squirrel picture and give it to my grandma (she hates squirrels because they always get into her bird feeders)

So my pappy started putting grease on the poll so the squirrels can't get in
