Thanks for the reminder Matt I was thinking about getting a Cowl or Cobra hood but not sure, Maybe even a Mach 1 hood. And a Cobra front bumper. I am trying to picture my car in comp orange with a Mach 1 hood, and a Cobra front bumper with maybe a mach 1 chin spoiler.
Mach1 chins do not fit the Cobra bumpers very well, even the 99/01 one. Go for a 03/04 Cobra chin instead.

Personally I don't like comp orange... just personal taste. I would say go with a color that is not a factory mustang color. You say you want to stand out... well what better way than to get a color that not a single Mustang was made with?

I always thought paints with metallic in them looked amazing. Maybe a black with some form of pearl in it... like Red, Blue or Green pearl/flake. That way its black with a slight color shene in direct sunlight. Always been a fan of that kinda thing.

Hmm I see where your coming from. I don't know I have ALWAYS been attracted to comp orange and I don't even generally like bright colored cars at all but theres something about comp orange that I love. I wish I had good photoshop skills, then I could just put things together and see more what fits my taste. Although looking at 97stang's sig I am kind of intrigued by a bright red with maybe black hood and spoiler... I hate decisions.

If you do all the prep work yourself a MAACO spray job will turn out just fine.

Personally I dont really care about underhood or trunk painting. It can stay silver honestly. Door jams yes will get painted. But one of my friends almost has me convinced to keep it the same color unfortunatley. I also need a dent fixed that I dont think I can do myself. I will take a pic when its daylight out and get your opinions if I can and how. It kind of blends in with the car I am actually the only person to notice it.

+1

If you do change the color you might wanna spend the extra couple dollars and have the inside of the trunk, hood and the seems in between your hood and fenders done.
