My new Candy paint/overhaul


Just picked my 03 stang up from the body shop 2 nights ago. I had a complete overhaul done to it. I found myself modding the stang a bunch but heading to the ricer direction with it. After screing the bodykit up and not being able to take the look anymore I finally lost it and brought muscle car back to life.

The car was originally a yellow Mustang Gt in which I did a complete 04 terminator motor/drivetrain and everything inbetween swap last year. Ill list the mods and some good pics of the new paint. The interior is still be resueded as we speak. I will post pics at the end of the month of the whole interior.

I ain't gonna lie. I saw the first pics and thought to myself "what the fuck did he do to that car!" Then I saw the pic of it rollin and it looks pretty damn good. Maybe it is just the pic quality.

I bought it new for 28k in 2003 and since then I put over 50k into it. As it sits I currently have over 30k into it. I changed my mind so many times and had a ton of body work done to it a few times. The motor swap and paint were the most expensive.

waxed the stang again so I snapped a few pics. I love the night time photos and the sunlight was not out today so the candy wasnt at its best. I cant begin to explain how happy I am with this color! I cant stop taking pics. lol

Looks fucking sick man. Only things I don't like are the dark orange on the hood (looks like a black/orange carbon fiber design to me and the black makes the orange look really dark) and the rear bumper. But if you fill the holes in the bumper with some nice exhaust tips it would looks better Btw great color choice. I used to have an Eclipse (I'm no ricer, it was bone stock) that was that color of orange.

I ripped the exhaust off on a serious pot hole not not too long ago. Since money was thin do to the ton of stuff I have been doing to get ready for this season I decided to just fab up some dumps till next month.

thx alot man, Yes the rear bumper is molded as well as the side scoops. All the badges and antenna were removed and welded shut to make for a clean flat body .

I originally wanted to change the rear bumper with this overhaul but before I could the guy had 4 hrs of labor into it including primed and blocked so I was too late. Im starting to like it again and it does lool decent with 4"tips.

Looks amazing. Will look so much better with some exhaust tips. The only thing I'm not 100% on is the spoiler. But I have yet to see a big wing on a mustang that I really like.

some 4 inch tips will look nice with that rear bumper. i have the same rear on my 96 and i have 4 inch tips. they fill it very nicely
