If you like it thats all that counts. Personly I think Cars should get lowered and trucks should get lifted. But thats just me.

+1

I havent seen your pic, but I cringe when I see a truck or SUV on low profile street tires.

i hope that's got real low miles, the stock suspension and steering systems are huge trouble points on the front end of those trucks, and lowering it is gonna make that even more problematic.

That truck has tons of potential, steering components are not problems nor is the suspension when maintained properly. Like anything that gets abused - used for towing and hauling on the regular, you have to get in there do more than the average commuter vehicle does in simple upkeep. I've been in and out of silverados, tahoes, yukons, denali's and avalanches as my daily drivers racking up miles in severe conditions for 15+ years now. Not one gave me any major problems even when hauling over their capacities on the regular.

I don't like those wheels, but hids and depo projectors will tie up the front. Color matching on things really has an impact.

Here's a couple of my denali lowered 3"-5" on spindles and helper bags in the rear, sustained AWD as well as air ride system (which you don't have). Just showing you their potential. This ones an 05 for the record.

Here's a shot from before a majority of the changes:

Nice, I like it.

Used to have a lowered truck, myself. Hated having to get rid of it, but there were too many problems with it after it was lowered.

Slammed trucks FTW!!!! I like that era of GM trucks. nice lines. I'd agree though, change the wheels to centerlines.

BTW Emay, love the new ride.

Looks good man. I also like that body style truck. Will look so much better with the roll pan. I don't know what it is about GM trucks, but they just look so much better without that big, chrome bumper on the back. And I don't mind the wheels. I'd rock 'em. I'd go 20" though if you replace them.

And I think it looks sexy lowered, but I'm also a fan of low trucks. And for those that say a truck should be lifted and never lowered, what about Lightnings?
