meh, Saved a good amount of weight per door if everythings out.....It all adds up.

Hint: not specifically setup for drag racing. I'm a corner guy.....

Been drag racing once and LOVED it but the car is setup for more than one thing.

If you are good at welding or know someone that is, I would just get the cage kit from jegs

Kool thanks!

I have a big question here....

People have put old motors in the new mustangs.

Example: an 00' windsor block in a 2006 GT with the 06 parts.....

I am taking an aluminum block out of an 06 GT and mating everything up to it. Everything WILL work as I have talked to many people and shops about it. But the only thing that will be different are the motor mounts. Hitech motorsport told me that some company makes a motor mount conversion kit for the Example above....but idk about going the other way around. Can anyone help me on this??? I've done a bunch of searching and no luck. All I need are the correct motor mounts to bolt up the block to my 2000 K member.

http://www.campbellenterprises.com/mid-motor-plate.php ?????

Thanks!

If I have to I'll start a new thread in the tech section.

Looks sweep man.

So are you doing a 3V swap, or just using the 06 block?

Just usin the 06 block dude. I picked it up from a friend and its got 6,000 miles on it! Just gotta get everything fit up right haha

Like the crank position sensor on the side of the block (I think its that anyways) is on the opposite side of my iron block. So I have to re route the plug for that to the other side of the engine bay....

And figure out how to do a battery relocation too...

I'm learing sooooo many things during this project its insane. I basically went into this blind not knowing anything. One thing I wish I did was take a ton of mini plastic cups and put bolts in them and marked them so I remember where they go haha

But oh well. It can only go back together so many ways huh
