I have a key, and that is it. No keyless on the truck or Jeep. I ride door less on the jeep, so I have keyless entry already...

Well the cars that I know they've gotten the codes for were Explorers. And they're mounting in the rear fenderwell/quarter panel area inside the vehicle. Not sure where it would be for a Mustang.

Hang on.

Ok so Mike is right. If it's the add-on keyless entry pad, it works just like a key FOB, and you can't pull the code with a scanner.

If it's a factory keyless entry pad, then it'll have the module or you can pull the code with a scan tool.

So, apparently, you or anyone in your situation is screwed for the code Weems.

I just asked one of the eletrical techs here at work.

Not sure on that one. I think you need the code to do that?

I didn't ask the tech that. All he said was basically you're screwed. Haha
