Saw this car today...

I was amazed by something so little. I have never seen it before on a Mustang in my life... Some people need to be more fucking responsible and keep up with their keys...

(Keyless entry)

I have seen a lot of Mustangs with that. Just never on the door like that. All the ones I have seen are mounted on the trunk right between the license plate bulbs.

I have seen alot of them mounting need to the fuel cap under the door ( so they are out of sight ).

Keyless entry comes in very handy as I have it on my explorer and never have to carry my keys on me ( as I hate carrying them in my pockets as they stab me through my slacks ), so I just toss the keys on the floor board and lock the doors.

It has nothing to be with being lazy, it has to do with convenience. After all, it saves no effort having to grab the keys off the floorboard and start the car rather than pulling them out of your pocket and starting your car. Infact it might require a little more as you have to enter the code on the door rather than just put one button on a remote.

There's got to be a module mounted somewhere in the car to recieve the signal from the keyless pad. I believe there should be a sticker with the code on it on the module. That's how we retrieve the codes from used cars.

Its real easy, its not keyless entry, its more like a FOB with number buttons, its just held on with double sided tabe and has a battery in it, you program the code you want, then when you punch in your code it does the samething the unlock button will do on your FOB. You can do it on any Ford vehicle with factory keyless entry

This is good for me and everyone else on PT mornings, nobody wants to do excercises and then do a mile and a half run while holding onto their keys and whatever else is on the keychain. I dont see a problem with it

I have the keypad on my explorer and love it. Great for warming the car up in winter with the doors locked
