Removed the Door Guards/Dealer Decal
well got those removed finally
had some free time and it was easy as hell, just let it sit on the sun all day, it was like 80+ and it peeled off easy, only needed fish line to start, after that it got off by hand ![]()

I agree serb. I think the rocker stripe looks good on your car.

And the door gaurds do absolutly nothing. I have a ding on my driver's door a little below the door knob.
![]() Was there any color difference where the strips had been? |

not at all, came off nicely and after i cleaned it, wax, polished a bit it was like brand new
all u gotta do it let it sit on sun all day, what i did and then the next day grab a fishling line, or some thread and start at the end and u can peel the rest off by hand, u might have some black tape left but u get a towel, a lil water and rub it out, make sure the towel is good, not somethin that will scratch the car up, and after u wax it, even b4 wax it looked great

i disagree i think the stripes on the side make the car look cheap and very tacky but thats just me...

Alright well I will remove my door guards this week. And actually, I had one of those things on the inside of my windshield at the base when I first got the car. I have no idea why it was there, but I took it out. Strange.

If you think it flows well, its your car. I know I had that kind of strip on my mustang for a little bit, but I liked the look of the car much better without it. Since your car has absolutley nothing on the side besides that rocker strip I just think it looks unbalanced. Just IMO

I don't usually like the rocker stripe, but it does look good with the wheels and tails. And breaks up the white a bit too, which is good. Looks great man!

You know that black plastic sideskirt?
I have seen a car with those side pieces painted white, and a chin spoiler painted white, and it looked pretty sweet. That makes the car look like it's lowered more. |
