new rims on my stang


well i couldnt really find a place to post this so ill try it here

i just recently bought a new set of 17in chrome BOSS 317 rims for my 05 v6. I paid 1200 for the set with tires dont remember tire size now ill post later
heres a few pics

looks good man.. but you REALLY need to lose some of that sidewall off those tires man... it makes your rims look like 15's

i will i just had to get a set of tires that wold fit my new rims what would be a good size tire to put on it

Yeah u need a different series tire, they do look like 15's. Nice lookin wheels tho.

go with 255/40(45)/15 in the front and 275/40/ 17in's in th back..

imo the 05+ cars need a bigger rim with less sidewall

alright thanks those tires only have like 100miles on them so maybe in a few months when there gettign some were on them ill check on some prices for those spec tires

i think the 05+ look goo dwith bigger rims but i plan on putting some serious money into preformance and a 17in rim seems perfect to me
