Tried my hand at editing pics for the first time... comments?

Well like the title says I tried my hand at editing pictures for the first time ever. Don't really know how I did so I am open for comments. I am also using Paint Shop Pro lol. So how did I do? Before and afters included....

So? Comments? Suggestions? I kind of want to get better at this, but I have no experience with this kind of thing...

Did a couple more, I actually want to get better at this honestly.

Before:

After:

Before:

After: (how can I dull the glare from the street light in the background without also dulling my HID's? I am using Paint Shop Pro btw...)

Before:

After: (Honestly my favorite, its just so simple but theres a decent amount of detail that showed up through editing the levels of everything. Remember all of these pics were origionally taken from my 3mp camera on my phone)

So comments on these too?

Thanks, I actually didn't think my first feedback on this would be on a positive side . I have been trying random little things and seeing what happens lol.

Some yes, theres maybe one or two I just played with the color schemes. The very last pic of just my one headlight I was going for the exact look I got. I actually just finished up one of 04MustangGt's cobra and his buddies GT. I learned out to remove objects in the pic don't think he will mind me showing his Cobra off

Before:

After: (removed power lines, telephone pole, and people in the background between the stangs)

Getting better at this with every pic I edit lol. Im loving this.

If anyone wants me to play around with a pic of their car, just post it up . I will mess around with it (if there is an object you want out I can try I am still new at this) and I will post it back up WITH the before image too.

Demon, I'd spend my time on some higher resolution images if I was trying to be serious about editing. I realize it's not in everyone's budget to have a camera that does so, but editing a digitally noisey picture is not something you'd want to sink editing time into.

Regarding the pics, many have been darkened too much, it may be a taste thing for you, but lots of detail was lost in darkness in areas that I personally would have kept it.

Additionally, the sharpness of most is soft. Working from a camera phone will do that, and you can't recover something that is so soft the edges are blurred.

Other than that, keep at it, photograph editing has about 10 ways to any one resolution. Most of it is simply personal preference.

Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it, well I was very bored earlier and I don't have a decent camera so I worked with what I had just to get a feel for the software pretty much. Im actually kind of excited I can remove objects now lol.

Good job with removing the people and power lines. Really makes the picture a lot better. I'm not a huge fan of making the pictures darker and think it's too much. Maybe try messing w/ the saturation as something else to start with.

Alright will do. I was going to make it very very slightly darker to bring out the body lines of the cars a little bit, and it made the fogs reflections on the ground stand out more too. I guess it is just my personal preference but I am also open for more suggestions like these, I want to get good at this. Its fun.

I thought about it, but I want to get use to what I am using first. I like the features it has and I have always found photoshop to be confusing lol.

Figured out how to make black and white pictures with certain things still colored (thanks to Youtube ) figured i would share, as you can see I like editing pics of Cobras .

Colored DRL's and Fogs, black and white everything else.

Colored background black and white car.

Black and white everything, colored HID's.

Comments? I am still trying to learn everything I can do and get more familiar with this program, thats why I am using the same images.

Looks good, I have always loved the gray color scheme, and black and white pics. Rep favor was returned. I especially love the gray color scheme with silver stangs especially with my exterior setup (black and silver).

EDIT: I need to spread some reps around before I can rep you
