My Car was used in a local Photoshoot!!!

I'm not sure what the photos will be used for yet exactly, but the photographer sent me a couple of minimally edited teaser shots of what's to come!

Probably because he's not that good

No offense to the O.P. - You're car looks great, there's just some key things that I would have done differently to get better shots.

well the shoot was probably not primarily for the car, the way the shots are taken, it looks like the main subjects are the people.

maybe someone started a clothing line and wanted these types of shots.

Still.. I would have at least increased the aperture to get some detail in the sky.

And I'm not sure exactly what the photos are going to be used for yet, it was a local photography company that a friend of mine works for out in Loveland, I guess she told them I had a Mustang and they called me and asked me to do the shoot while they were here in Greeley. They paid me about $125 and took me out to lunch so I wasn't about to complain. hahahaha

I can tell you at the first glance the photographer clearly did not intend to have the car as the focal point. It's pretty obvious. His reasoning for the shoot was the people, with something eye appealing within and nearby. My guess is it's a start to someone's portfolio. A very raw start.

People and properly exposed cars are not something that light well. Especially on an overcast day with no contrast in the sky. The sky could not have been made any better in the conditions of that particular day. Can't rip the photog for that - I personally would have made the shots so the sky never was in frame using buildings and things for backdrops.

Curious the intent of the shots, definately let us know what they are used for.
