Crappy pics off my phone, but i think it looks alright. I filled the holes with these rubber plugs i got from home depot. Could have done it a little better though. What do you guys think looks better, wing or no wing?

Brandon it looks nasty bro. If you ever try to put that spoiler back on, i will take it and beat the shit out of you with it j/k Looks good though man. Did those plugs work good? I kinda think you need black mustang letters.

haha thanks bro! and the plugs work alright but were a pain in the ass. They fit 2 of the holes perfect, but the other two holes are a different size. I had to shave them down a little and those 2 turned out shitty. Any other ideas to plug them? And yeah i thought the same thing, the silver letters are getting peeled off asap!

hell i got bored today and painted my wing back and threw it on the car for the next few days...i think ill just go winged and wingless as i feel like it

no ideas...I havent even looked for any plugs yet. I just tore my off like 4 hours ago And shit bro your lucky, I had like glue on half my trunk lid and i have 6 holes total

idk if you did or not but buy your touch up paint from autozone or wherever and paint the plugs.

haha i was thinking about doing the same thing! painting mine black and keep switchin it up. And i tried the vinyl blackout panel but i f'ed it up bad ha, complete fail im going to paint it myself soon though!

6 holes?! that sucks ha. And yeah i hit the top of the plugs with touchup to help, but its still noticeable. I need to wetsand it or something to get the crappy paint from under the wing to blend.

mine was painted...flat black lol

my GT i did vinyl but just because i wanted to give it a shot doing it myself w/o an online kit...

3'rd brake light BTW...paint it...or VHT it if you must

Me to but im scared. Im not a paint guy at all. Whatever can possibly get f'd up i will f it up (paint related). Maybe we can find a write up or something..

step 1: remove eblems, tag, and tape everything off (overspray sucks)

step 2: use a scotchbrite pad to scuff things up

step 3: spray in light even coats...spraying too much will blotch
(let each coat dry before going to the next)

step 4: continue spray until you think you've covered it up

step 5: now remove the tape thats covering your top portion of your
trunk lid (if you wait till after the last coat dries, it will crack)

step 6: enjoy your sexy new rear

nice little directions. Know anything about wetsanding? like to get little scratches out from underneath the spoiler? i dont wanna take paint off.

its not that hard man...just take your time...turn on some tunes, and have fun with it..

the hardest part that i had was the first spray from the can...kinda makes it a point of no return lol

@white...i just feel an old wipe and shine bottle with water and use that for an ez access bottle...spray a librel amount of water on a spot and using a high grade of sandpaper...rubbing with only the lightest touch and when the spot slurries (produces a milky look...colors depend on your car)...i wipe and see if i need to do it again

edit: i didn't use adhesion promotor, but its not a bad idea
of course my way of doing it may be different from most
