Well I never have claimed to be any good at photography but I truly am an artist at heart and HDR allows me to be creative with my pics, so I do enjoy it a ton.

EMAY and MP cobra the bottom line is times and technology are changing and photoshoppers are todays new photographers weather we like it or not its here to stay. Even worse is the more advanced theses programs become the less need for a real potograher will be evident and you will slowy see the professional fall by the wayside. It is unfortunate but all to real at the same time.

that I don't agree with, if your talking landscape and the like - ahhh maybe I agree a little.

Human portraiture, lighting, eye for a space that doesn't detract, and a creative arrangement are all things seen as fail, when the heavily reliant chopper tries to convert a turd. Software only goes so far with these and even a mid skilled photog can see it.

The flip side to that is a mediocre photog skill and a software capability gets you close, but editing for lengths of time on 300 files from a shoot will never compete with the guy that landed it right straight from the camera.

I do agree with everyone that times are changed. However, the asthetics of a picture under industry standard has no competition especially when you pixel peep against chops, or critique the hidden things that people miss.
