The lettering is definitely not happening. A flat black vinyl blackout panel should do the trick though.

yea i knew about the fender holes but didnt know the ford one in the back had a hole too.. that sucks

There's two holes behind it. One big, one small.

I'm badgeless on the deck lid. I painted my own blackout panel and filled the holes myself from behind the ford emblem. After it dried and everything, I ended up going with a "hurst equipped" emblem where the ford oval was. This pic is from the night I did it:

if you get the blackout panel, your rear will definitely look way better. your car color scheme will flow much better as well. but as 6er said, i agree with him at this point.

So if i were you, i would keep the tails black if you add the blackout decklid panel, but otherwise you should just smoked them
