So after all the hell I have been going through over the past 3 months I came up with a new design for my next tattoo. It was that or do something I might regret after (I really do not want to talk about what happened or what I was going to do so please don't ask).

Anyways here is what I have been working on. I am going to let who ever is going to do the tattoo make a few drafts and then I will pick one for a final draft. This is going to go over my heart. My over all plan is to get this and then when I find the girl for me (after getting married and being married for a good few years or so) having a band-ad put over it.

Well here it is.

i think its cool i guess. A little girlie IMO but if you got shot in the heart or whatever and want to remember it then go for it. If whatever you went through you dont even want to talk about then i dont know why you would want it tattooed on you so you remember the event everytime you look at it.

just a heads up on the "bandaid over it" idea. after reading the description cloer, i dont think youll be able to do the tan color of a band-aid over the red. you will be able to see red unerneath, giving it a pinkish hue, unless you have it lasered or something.

But seriously, it looks like theres a lot of emotion/feeling into the design which I find pretty cool, seems like you put a fair share of time into it. I know whitevenom said it seems girly and it sort of does but if you're really feeling down and out then it's an understandable idea. Just from reading your description it sounds like you've been doing pretty shitty and that's never cool. My advice though is if you even think you might be wanting to get a bandaid put over it in the next few years or so then you might end up regretting it. No shit, I'm sure you've heard this a million times but don't forget, life goes on. You might be doing bad or hit a rough patch in your life but it'll get better; hell, it might even be amazing and you'll be happier than you've ever thought you could be. But at that point you'll look down at your chest and remember your bad times and be like "wtf, now it's marked on me"; no offense. If this is what you feel will "complete" you then so go for it, it's your body, it's a neat design that's full of emotion, it's sentimental and can be look at as a mark signifying past hardships, and it can be shown as a milestone in your life that you surpassed. But just some small words that you may take as a grain of salt before you commit... step out of your mind for a moment and think as if you already have it on your chest.... then imagine your life exactly the way you want it (in reasonable conditions)... imagine being very happy.... how would you feel about this decision then? Will it make you proud? Will you wear it with pride? Then make your decision. Seriously. But other than that, I think the design is cool, I can tell a lot of thought was put into it, and I see that it definitely shows a piece of yourself, but if it were me, I know inside I would regret it later when I am at home with my loving wife and children and all is well. But that's just my honest opinion. Hope all is well with you man.
