Same concept, I think it was a 3/4 plug cant remember. I would still wet sand anyway because the outline of the emblem will be on the car. Wetsanding isnt that hard. There are quite a few writeups and videos on youtube.

Took my fender badges off a while ago to paint them black, took that black adhesive crap off then too. I put the emblem back on by putting double sided adhesive on the part that goes in the hole like what you did with the plugs because I knew I wanted to take all my emblems off eventually.

Do you take the Ford emblem off the same way the fender ones? Never looked at it, is it bolted down at all?

I took the ford emblem of a while ago just threw it with them. I removed it because my bumper dosent say mustang on it so it complements it. I took a screwdriver and a micro and pried it off. Wish I did it the same way I did with the others...

Hmmm I would have thought even with a microfiber it would still scratch but guess not.... If I can find the plugs tomorrow guess what I am doing.

It looks good I did mine couple years ago.I went to get my emissions done , guys walks around my car 3 times and asks me what kind of car is that as he never seen one before like that LOL
