and painted with some dupicolor scratch paint. The holes edges cave in a little so the top of the plug fits nicely.

I have seen more and more threads about this since I got mine done, except mine got filled in with metal or fiberglass depending on location of the hole. I'm really liking all these debadged stangs. They look so clean and sleek.

What's funnier is when someone who obviously knows nothing about cars asks if mine is a V8. Did you not hear the exhaust? Of course it is.

Can you do me a favor? Pm me or post exactly what you use (brands) for plugs and such? Seeing you do this without going to a body shop made me want to do it... But question what did you wetsand?
EDIT: Just saw you didn't sand the plugs yet... So what did you sand? And where did you get the plugs? Lastly care to tell me what size plugs you used? I don't know if the hole behind the Ford emblem is bigger than the fender holes.

Equipment 2000 grit sandpaper 3m rubbing compound meg professional glaze CG butter wet wax 3m double sided molding tape. rubber mallet orileys body plugs left them at my house but the best thing is to remove the emblem and drive to a part store and just see which one will almost fit. Warp them with the tape and take a rubber mallet and gently!!! knock it into place. It will stay in.

Ahhh I see so wetsanding wouldn't be necessary in my situation. And my local auto parts stores aren't nice enough to let me take things outside, open it and see if they fit before I even buy them. So I guess I will get an assorted pack. Was it by chance a clear little box with a orange label? Those are what I used for my trunk lid holes after removing my spoiler.
