looking for red new edge with black hood scoop...

Well I am thinking about painting my hood scoop black on my 02 GT, but was trying to find a car that has it done.... google hasnt helped me out, and i cant find anything here, yet I know i have seen one here before. can anyone help me out?

i've seen them somewhere, but not a clue where. i know it would look pretty good with a blackout on the hood and somewhere on the rear end, but i don't think painting just the scoop would look good.

and thats why im wanting pics...

I have the rear blackout panel, and Im thinking about the scoop going black along with the recessed panel infront of it.... but looking for pics still....

I painted my hoodscoop flat black. It looks good I guess. The reason I did it is because my scoop was ruined by bird crap. Now I'm glad I did it, since it is easy for me to find my car in pics and videos on the web!

Ive been thinking of doing the same thing. although i need to get a cowl first. anyone know where i can get one

If you are going to do it, i would paint the whole ridge section black, just like ZenMGT did. If it's just the hood scoop, it looks like you lost or damaged your old one and were too lazy to paint the new one.

I will say the paint on mine was done by the previous owner. The scoop looks good, but looks like they just laid flat black down for the stripe right over the old paint (you can feel a ridge).

My car should be named 'MachWannaBe'.
