Rocker stripes on/off?!

"GT inspired" doesn't sound lame or dumb, does it? I kinda like the sound of it... Like an original-ish feel too it.

What about the trunklid? Like I said in 1 of my earlier post, it's gonna be a custom made decal, GT Like the OEM emblem's size and font, then next to it is all small letters that says "inspired"... I wish I knew how to Photoshop it...

It's gonna be black... GT(black), then inspired(red on black)... Or is the whole thing just overkill?!

I tried to do a rocker stripe with "GT Inspired" on it. Got rid of the eibach sticker and the door guard.

hey torchredmustang, this is a little off topic but did your car have much of a shadow or different shade of paint under that rocker stripe? I'm taking my rocker stripe off and was just wondering how bad the shadow could be. My car is laser red.

Thanks bro! I love it! Itdoes look better without the ding guard! I was thinking the "GT inspired" slanted the other way and the "inspired" about half the size of the GT. But good job bro!

No door guard, and no stripe. I am not a fan of those rocker stripes. I will say though, for some reason it looked really good on your car. That made the decision very hard for me.

No problem with the paint at all... Just dirt on the outline of the vinyl... I used rubbing/polishing compound to remove the dirt... Now it looks like as if it was never there!

Sometime this week... I'll risk my door paint and I'll PROBABLY remove the ding guard...

Nice. I'll be taking mine off when I get time. Did you just use a heat gun?

I think you should paint the lower part of the rocker panel black. But its starting to look like mine

minus the wheels, grill and color. Still one of the best sixxers on here.

If I'm blacking out anything on my ride, I'd be using vinyl so it'd be reversible...

The stripe definitely stood out nicely because of the wheels. if you had silver wheels, it would look better w no stripe.
