Rocker stripes on/off?!

So my "MUSTANG" rocker stripe was my very first "mod" 7 years ago.... I've always loved it and all but today... I decided it had to go... So which one looks better? With or without?!

Ps. The ding guard stays... At least for now... I really don't feel like dealing with the mess that it's gonna leave on my paint...

Looks clean, but the stripe pulled the red and black theme together.

Remove the trim in the middle of the door, then put the stripe back on. I like it.

Thanks guys... Yah, the stripe did play a big part in the whole "black and red" theme... That's why I kinda regret it... Later on, if I decide I want it back, I could always get a cheap one from eBay!

@6ER: the side scoop inserts? Lol I still have them really black and shiny... I guess it's just the angle of the shot that made it look grayish but otherwise I'd give it an 8 out of 10...

I have an idea for a trunklid emblem/decal... Tell me if it's lame or dumb...

Imagine... "GT inspired"... The GT part is like the OEM style letters then right next to it says "inspired"... Maybe a nicely made decal will pull it off?

Just a break from all the ever so common generic V6 emblems out there...

I'll leave it without the stripe for now I guess... Lol I even googled images if NE torch red mustangs and most of the nicest looking ones didn't have the stripes... I was desperately trying to convince myself that I can pull it off as well!

I like it with it. Makes the car have a "look", if you know what I mean

I guess I'm gonna put another set if stripes on... It looks too plain to me... Don't get me wrong... There are A LOT of badass NEs out there WITHOUT the stripes... For some reason I like mine WITH it.

Do I get the same "mustang" ones or maybe one that says something else?! You know how some sellers let you put your own custom text... What would be nice?! Hmmmm....

Another thing... Is there anybody here who's had ding guards before and had taken them off? How hard was it to remove? What about the paint under it?

I would put the stripe back on if I was you. Looks good either way though.

Maybe you could put the GT Inspired there, I'm willing to bet you'll get a bunch of looks.
