Added some new stuff to my Fobra...

Well today was the first warm day we've had around here in a long time, even though it snowed last night...so I thought I would clean up the old vert and add a few other things. I started yesterday when I added a new set up Sumitomo 315's to the back because the Nitto DR's was looking like a drag slick pics below. Also took the car to a local performance shop and had a custom SCT tune installed, which made a big difference in my car. Any way back to today I started off by wet sanding and clear coating my hood because it got some bad scuffs on it from an unknown person in the parking lot at work

...and I work with the sheriffs office that will piss you off! Then I put a light coat of VHT on my head lights, not enough to black them out, but enought to tint them and do away the the factory chrome look. I think it came out pretty good but you guys be the judge. Enough talk on to the pics...

looks good. headlights dont look like they turned out to great IMO. Buy some new tinted ones!

I done the head lights to fast and didn't take my time, its was just to give me idea of if I wanted to go dark or keep the chrome. Next week I will take the off again and black them out like i did the tail lights.

^ i agree with you both, I would like a black top but cant afford one, and I'm looking at lowering springs right now. Just gotta find the ones that will give the stance i want.

Eibach Sportline, or anything else really just started looking around a couple days ago. I want to have the front lower than the rear to have that old muscle car look.

Thats kind of how i have my cobra, i have H&Rs up front with stock springs in the back cut. Cut your stock springs! I had eibachs on my old GT

On my cobra i have H&R lowering springs in the front and 1 coil cut off in the rear off stock springs.

Not feeling the black on the hood or the headlights. As far as springs, cut your stockers for now to get a feel for the ride height you want! And pick up some stock 01-04 Cobra headlights from American Muscle, they would look great in it!

I would just buy black aftermarket headlights, vht can look nice but isnt worth the work to me but itll look nice on your car, car will look killer once you can drop it and can put the top down especially if you have a styling bar

i got the hood cause I didnt' wanna be like everyone else, and the black on the hood is just my thing. every single mustang I've ever owned has had the black on the middle of the hood. I'm talking to someone right now about trading hoods for a 03/04 cobra but dont know yet if I will. The headlights was just a sitting at home bored and wondering how it would look day..lol, I do have plans for new smoked headlights.

I like, but then again I am a fan of Electric Green...... I would cut the springs It is cheap if you do it yourself. That is what I did.

I think i would sell the lift kit you go goin, to pay for the spings... (I'm 4x4in it too)
The black on the hood(not a big fan of) clashes with the top. But you gotta do what you can, while you have money, other then that its looking pretty decent.
