Stripes are on, What ya think?

Well thanks to a generous forum member, TommyC, I was able to put them on. Was a little nervous, but got it done. It isn't perfect, but turned out alright! What y'all think? Also am in the process of blackening everything out. So I took off the GT emblems thinking they're just on there with glue. WRONG!!! There's 2 frickin holes holding them in place. WTF!! Sorry, just never seen holes for emblems. So any suggestions to getting them patched over? Might get custom emblems... Thanks!!

I think it is unique, I really haven't seen a stang with these. I am not a graphics person, but these are something I would consider.
A few observations, however:
-Makes me think of a new camero for some reason
-I really hate to put this idea out there, but I am thinking they are on upside-down.
if the sides were reversed, the front of the large blocks would line up with the forward angle of the headlights. You may have done this intentionally, and thats fine if you like it better, it just struck me that way. But it does not look bad at all like it is.

Nice job!

About the indentations in your fenders, just buy another set of GT emblems and paint them. I see them on ebay a lot so they're easy to get..

Yea, I did it like that to have the effect like they're stretching when up at speed. Like the wind is making them bend. True, blacked out GT might be an idea. Was trying to stealth it out so people wouldn't know what they're running up on.

Hey that looks kind of cool, I never would have thought to put them up there.
I'll bet the silver 4.6 v8 decals at American Muscle would look good with those, they are on sale for only $6.

looks like a cheap and tiny attempt at a challenger mopar stripe on their new cars

but being serious...if you like it then that's fine. just not my thing...the shape of the cuts has no corrolation to the flow of the front end which makes it look wrong

No offense but I'm not a big fan on the stripes...my thinking is if you are going to stripe a car it should be painted on. Decals wear and tear too easily and it looks and feels a lot better when you can slide your hand over them and not feel an edge.

I think they are upside down as well. I would have flipped them. But I like them.

The holes in the fender are alignment holes. They're there so when the line workers come in from lunch after a couple beers and joints they can get the emblems on straight!

Paint the emblems black and stick em back on. Since you know the alignment holes are there you can even have a few beers before you do it!
