didnt read all the posts but do not get 2 pc hood pins if you are only going to use those and not a latch. If your going to run with out a latch you have to run the original style hood pins that go through the hood

I'm not gonna use pins. Got the factory latch to work.

I figured I'd catch some hate for having a cobra bumper and a Mach 1 hood on a gt. The shaker does serve some purpose though, where I had to stop pipe routing is right where the head unit is, so it should cool down the head unit

So far I think it's the best looking combo I could've gone with.

if your going to stay with the latch, take the latch off and put one or two 1/8in washers and it will make the hood so much easier to shut, thats what i had to do with my cobra hood

my latch was actually bent and we re-bent it to get it to work, worked out just fine!
