The 2011 V6 weighs more which offsets the extra power a little. I can outrun a S197 GT from a roll or dig with the typical easy bolt ons so I don't have any fear for a stock 2011 V6.

That's what they say about all trucks.
![]() I know several guys with cammed/headers/tuned Titans running mid 12's. Theres even a guy with a turbo'ed Titan running 11's. I can AFFORD it but I'm not enjoying it. Getting a v6 would reduce the amount I'd be spending. Plus I'd be getting rid of an insurance payment, registration and taxes as well. Paying for 1 car is a lot cheaper than 2.

From the dynos I've seen Matt, the V6's are producing 300-308rwhp. I think Ford underrated them.
Fact of the matter is, I'm not looking for the world's fastest car. I'm looking for something that gets better fuel economy, still has decent power, and is nearly new.

Sadly it can be a slow as 4 banger but since it looks fast most people will view it as a fast car regardless of what they know. That's just an observation from my area, i'm sure it vary's where you go. It would be cool to have a fast truck but I like playing around on the back country roads and a truck just isn't meant for that. It also takes more power to move a truck compared to a car. The aftermarket is also better for a sports car then a truck like the titan. This is why I have my F150 for the towing and the mustang for playing. The titan is in my top three favorite trucks on the market right now though.

Edit: A quick search on here revealed this from Motor Trend. Take it for what it's worth but they claimed around 268rwhp. http://wot.motortrend.com/mustang-po...7-v6-8060.html This is pretty damn impressive though. Definately gotta give these cars respect. The Titan proved that you don't need a lot of aftermarket to be fast. lol
Only 4 brands are needed to be pretty fast. Jim Wolfe Technology Cams, UpRev tuning, Doug Thorley Headers, S&B Intakes. lol That alone will put a Titan into the mid 12's. I mean h*ll, you have you to admit, having a 5500lb truck that can run 12.5, tow a 9k lb boat, and still have a good suspension set up is sick. I play with my Titan on back country roads, in mud holes, on the street, on the interstate, the list goes on. ![]() I don't care for Motortrend. Either way it's still extremely impressive for a stock Sixxer.

Just watched that S/C'ed vid...Sick. I wonder how long the stock 3.7 can handle it though.
