Final pics before Paint

The car goes back into the paint booth on the 15th to fix what the other jackass fucked up, add more pearl and re-clear the other car as well as paint in some flat black accents. The painter hasn't decided if he wants to start from scratch or try and fix what's wrong. I'm thinking I'm going to tell him to start from scratch.

Here are some pics of the fuck ups from the other douche canoe painter. Keep in mind I've only has the car back 3 or 4 months and only put about 1200 miles on it.

Scoop chipping (both of them look like this)

Chip on the C-pillar

Big chip on the wing that I went over with some straight white, and I big ass bubble in the pearl that is stuck under the dry clear

Crack in the front bumper (paint only, bumper itself is fine)

Another crack in the bumper (paint only, bumper itself is fine)

Paint chipping in wheel wells. All 4 of them look like this

And some overall shots for comparison sake after I get it back.

THe car looks so good un-baged, Now you should smooth out the back bumper make it looks really clean!

The pic of the painted single piece is how it should be? Because that...is...fucking...sick! That will look very good. In one of the pics you posted, the "tiger striping" can easily be seen. Hope it turns out right for ya. Having something you arent happy with sucks. Post up pics fa sho when u get it back

This guy that's painting it now has done lots of pearl before and it always looks good. I don't any reason why he can't make it like the metal strip. We do plan on shaving mustang off the bumper as well as shaving the trunk key hole. Mach 1 grill is going in with a flat black horse. Then flat black Mach 1 hood stripe, flat black blackout panel, and flat black bumper insert on the bottom.

My hope with the pearl is that all the hard lines pop that metallic blue while the rest of the car looks metallic white. We are having to custom mix the pearl to get the color I want. Can't find a factory color with the right color blue in it.

Dang, i like the way it looks. That pearl is pretty sexy. Especially with what you have planned, flat black stuff. Nice

It needs more flat black to with the flat black wheels. As of right now I think they look a bit out of place. Some flat accents should help that.

Blackout panel on the rear between the tail lights. Mach 1 stripe on the hood. The indention on the bottom of the rear bumper. All that will be flat black.
