Insane HDR's from this weekend!! [Terminator's]

Well my buddy finally returned home from FL and put his photo taking and editing skills to the test. Here's the result. If you live in and around MA and want some work done shoot him an email at johntiplady2@gmail.com... His stuff is second to none. The silver one is mine of course and the black on is my friend Brad's. He has pulleys, exhaust, springs, and a dyno tune 442/496.

Cooked so far the pixels outside of any dark areas are really haloed and some of the shots are a bit soft for using an HDR edit on. Needs to back off the gamma a bit and that halo issue will correct itself. I question some of the composition as well. How longs he been at it?

I'm the photographer in question. This was my first time doing any type of car shoot. I gave Joe (Jobra) a selection of HDR's to see what he liked and he chose the natural but popped look, which you see above. I personally prefer natural with minor editing for color. I do HDR's for fun, not professionally, and have only been doing so for a few weeks. I'll post some untouched shots myself since I didn't send any of those to Joe. Also keep in mind all of these took minutes to throw together since he wanted something to share, and any real work would be hours. I will be spending quite awhile on some of the rolling shots since I think those came out better than the stills.
But thanks everyone for the comments and critiques.

Welcome JT, no need to defend towards me, I was speaking from personal preference and hitches I saw in the shots. Joe may not be near the critic I am nor alot of the folks freelancing here would be, so I was simply pointing out there's room for improvement in this set of HDR's.

Lets not forget your statements contradict what Joe mentioned. He titled it, "Insane HDR's" which tells me I better go look and see what is insane. He also said, "His (your) stuff is second to none". Which in my association to freelance photography, means I'm going to see stuff that's jaw dropping and unforgettable.

Now you have mentioned you spent minutes working the product. Which in this day and age of social media should never be done if you're even half heartedly serious to the industry. Because the stuff goes right online and is instantly a representation of your work. I know better than anyone about pressure from a client, friend or other. However if I don't want my "minute edits" used, then they don't get them at all.

By the way, the only natural but popped ones I see, is the duplicated rolling shot. The rest were pressurized far more than what I think the industry considers natural HDR's.

As requested, here are some shots with just very minor editing.

If anyone has any requests having to do with my shots such as having one without a watermark or at a certain size, or anything else, shoot me at the email listed in the OP. I'll still be checking the thread to see what people have to say, so if you want to see a shot that was previously shown but with little to no editing let me know. I also have shots from pretty much every angle that I might mess with and if you have any requests for those let me know!
