my 96 GTS dohc

got a little bored last night so i took the stang out and got some new pics... Just swapped in a dohc in as well, best thing ive done to the car besides painting it 2 years ago.

haha would you believe it has a 1.5" lowering kit on it already? The 18's jacked it up some. so i need to invest in lower springs or coilovers....

idiot before me had an aluminum wing on it. I found a different deck lid and put the 99 wing on it. I do have an actual 95 GTS though with no wing...

how did you do the 99 wing? I have been thinking of the idea if I don't end up doing s281 cause I dont like this one...

its not to hard, just gotta make sure measurements are right, but I measured from the back of the decklid to where i wanted the rear most stud to be. i then used a piece of wood that was the same width as the studs and centered it, then marked where i needed the holes. Not the most sophisticated way of doing things, but it worked.

not that i don't believe you....just curious because of the tails and badge...GTS's were 5.0s not 4.6s so im a little confused

ah found out why i'm confused...it's not a GTS but a 248A package...the GTS designation was stopped in '95...the 248A was offered until '98
