Detailed black mustang. Pic heavy

So i bought a meguiars paint restore kit, which came with car wash, clay kit, compound, and wax. I took about 4 hours to wash, dry, clay, compound, and wax today. Here are some pictures. ive replaced and painted some things since my last update.

went from shitty projectors to some nice smoked headlights. The light output was horrible with the projectors. I got a pair of smoked headlights and put it 55 watt 10,000k hid bulbs.

To this

went from honeycomb taillight decals to 1 coat of vht nighshades with clear coat.

To this
Painted trunk emblem black.

Random photos taken after the detail

Looks pretty good. And nice choice on cleaning up the lights.

That would help until you get new ones but the problem is that the factory rims are too small on the v6s! Nice car though.

Heres what the 55 watt 10,000k looks like. The 55 watt washes out some blue, putting it around 8000k. I took this with my cell phone, sorry for bad quality

if i were you...i'd leave the hids alone...but i'd add in some GT fogs behind the grill and put your 8k's in there...make you some brackets for the fogs which is simple and then relocate your horn which is just as easy...and you're good to go

are you saying you like the hids or no? and ive thought about the fog lights behind the grill but these headlights are plenty bright. even through the smoked lens. a total upgrade from the projectors

i would buy a can of adhesion promotor if you don't plan to sand..it'll make it last longer if you plan on keepin the wheels for a while.

i've painted two sets of wheels now so if you have any questions just pm me

tire rack has some good deals...discount tire will also have specials...i went in the other day to get a rotate and balance and they had a set of 18" chrome bullets with brand new nitto NT05's on them...full set of wheels and tires for $1k.

apparently someone ordered everything then never showed up and changed their minds...the store had mounted everything already so they couldn't rebox it to send back to the warehouse lol

thats not bad at all. more on my priority list is getting my car fixed. someone keyed the whole side of my drivers side. quoted at $1200 to fix... which is ridiculous
