2001 Z28 Detail pic heavy

I got to detail an 01 z28 the other day at work. I felt like I was betraying the 2v the whole time I was doing it haha but i still enjoyed detailing this car and making a catfish look good. The paint was very easy to work with, wasn't stubborn at all and 90% of the swirls n scratches came out so I was very pleased about that. I used a carquest buffer on speeds 4 for bigger areas (hood, doors, roof) and speed 2 1/2-3 for the plastic areas (bumpers, wing, panels, door handles). The compound was just 3m polishing compound so really, I just hid the imperfections seeing as my boss wont buy actual cutting compound. In general, all the products we have to use at work are pretty crappy but I make due with it and I'm satisfied with how this one came out.

Some generic shit called First Place Finish Go Green tire dressing. It gives a nice shine, but doesn't last at all.

Wheels&Tires,Lowered and tint would really make that car look nice and i'm not a big camaro fan. Good job on the detailing man. I need someone to do a nice buffing job on my car.

Nice job.. but I do still wonder why people say "Pic Heavy".. if you don't have some kind of broadband these days, everything is heavy. LOL

I am one who doesn't like shiny ass tires. I reccomend autoglym tyre dressing. Gives it that new deep look. Its awesome.

Looks great! I am not really a fan of Chevy but I would love to own a Z28.

nice detailing, but that is ugly haha. I respect all V8s, but I think chevy really messed up with these. Especially the wheel choice and stance. icky

Thanks and yea I agree, I've never been a fan of Camaros, only the 67-69s.

This stuff gives that wet look but only for a little after its been put on. I took these pics probably 10 mins after getting the tire shine on so it was still fresh. I'll check that stuff out for the mustang though.

Yea, it came out pretty good. Huge improvement over when I first pulled it in the shop. Lol this one is not one of those.
