I like this season of US Top Gear a lot better than last season's. They just need time to develop relationships with the other hosts. It's almost pointless to compare UK's version to ours, they have the highest production budget on BBC and have been around forever. Give 'em time.
I just like how we can buy (well, if we won the lottery for some) all the cars they test on the US version. They do a lot of news and features of cars in the original on cars we'll never see in the US.

First off hating on American cars if they did wouldnt make it a bad show.

Have you seen the episode with the ZR1? They tell it how it is. Most American cars are built for straight line speed and dont handle the corners as well, as easily or as smoothly. Doesnt make them bad cars just purpose built. European roads are much more twisty than US roads so a car that doesnt handle corners well wont be received as well over there.

ANd like 6er said, they drive super cars all the time that have the power and the handling so they expect alot.

I met him after a drift comp in Jersey few years ago. He won the event and still made time.. We were hangin around for a while dont really know why, but he spent a few minutes talking and talking pics with us. Def a chill guy.

because from seeing their episodes online i like them even less then the US version...and they have had a few series to get into the rythm

yep...the german version has 2 guys and a girl...the austrailian version is 3 guys...and both shows are eh...the austrailian version has some cool fords from time to time, but that's about it...unless you like yutes

I have to say this weeks TGUS was pretty dame good. They seem to be expeanding it beyond just one element and IMO its getting quite a bit more entertaining.
