Got a new truck
Well, new to me.
I only have the pictures from the dealership website right now. I'll take some better ones when I go back next Saturday to pick it up. 2003 Ford F150 5.4L Triton V8 FX4 Offroad Package Crew Cab Flowmaster Catback 135K miles

They took off $1000 because I don't have converters, another $500 because of the paint, $300 to fix the engine light problem (which is either a dirty EGR valve or being that the O2 sensors weren't plugged in), and another $600 for 4 new tires. They originally offered me $2800 for the trade in, but I told the guy I wasn't going to talk to him anymore unless he was going to give me $5000. He "checked some things" and came back, saying $4000 is the highest he could go. So I took it. I had called a few shops and got quotes to fix the exhaust (x pipe is sitting in the trunk of the mustang, and put two tires on it, which is all it needs), and on average, it was going to be $800. I was going to lose money either way, but figured this would help with the downpayment a lot more, instead of using the money from a private sale to pay off my other loan. This way I was able to combine them both and I'm still only paying $210 a month on a 1.9% interest rate.. Which is ridiculously low compared to my original loan being at 17.6%. Navy Fed FTW. I'll be putting the Xpipe up sometime this weekend or next. I got it from BazNastyDave back in March or April, and never installed it. (has brand new MIL eliminators too).
