I hope you didn't pay for those. Sorry to see that man, I know you were lookin forward to this. This is an example of what the market flood of DSLR's has done. It's not the tool that lands the "holy shit" shots. It's the operator of the tool.

Ya, that guy is no pro. Way over exposed, bad lighting on the faces, no focal point, and some are way underexposed. 1 MAYBE 2 that I like.

I am NOT a pro, but I can do better than that... Did you pay this person? If so, I hope it was not much.

I'm HELLA amateur with total low-end equipment, and I take better shots than that.

If that's the level of work required to get paid as a photographer, I'll quit my job tomorrow!

Well, I haven't really paid anything yet. He said he would just shot them and I could throw him some money. He actually does do photography

Now I am not sure what to do because he works with me and I kinda want money from him for wasting my time and telling me we were gonna get professional shots.

I even asked him if the sun was gonna be an issue and he said, not for him.

My wife is very disappointed, she had high hopes for these.

Good luck getting money from him.. I wouldn't even waste your time trying. If I were you I'd just find someone with a reputation in your area. Look at their portfolio. Either that or fly Emay up there and let him show you how it's done.
