Stang is finally lowered! *pics*

Cut the springs this weekend. 3/4 coil on the rear, 1 1/4 coils on the front, no isos.
And guess what...it rides just fine!

And After Pic

Engine shot just for fun

am i the only one who thinks cut springs are just a quicker way to damaging the car long term?

i mean dont get me wrong it looks good... but Ford doesnt spend the millions of dollars designing every detail of a car, to just have us go through and cut something like a spring.

not my car but just saying 150 bucks, and a couple hard hours of work and you will have something that is warrantied vs if you have any issues with the car now, it is 100% on your own self.

well no other springs but H&R would get me the height i wanted, and theyre 250 bucks. and being in high school making minimum wage, i dont have much money to blow. so while i know it isnt the BEST choice, it works for me.

what height were you looking for... i bought 150 ebay springs and got anything from a 1.5 to 2.5 drop.... you just told the guy which drop you wanted and he would send those springs.

Looks good! But I'd be saving up for good lowering springs, struts and strut mounts. I know there are guys that have been running such a setup for "years". However, if you want the car to handle properly, launch properly or getting any amount of power to the ground the only way to do it right is with good springs, struts and suspension geometry you won't get with cut springs.

mine have been cutt for two years with ZERO damage cause by them

plus stock rate springs are better to 1/4 then any lowering spring

Nice job on the spring cutting. I'm running cut down rears. No issues, and I launch better.
