New Look For Kenne Bell

I decided to de-anodize and polish my black KB to match my wheels/calipers..

I havent seen this done before... Let me know what yall think.

At some point Im going to make it a mirror finish, but for now I kinda like the more brushed look

And I took a pic when I pulled it out to blow the dust off earlier...

not a big fan personally, but hey just my .02c. it looks good, but it looks better black IMO. i would worry it would get grease in the metal and stain it. oh well just repaint then i suppose.

The anodized coating was starting to fade from all of the heat cycles...I thought about painting it but decided to try it polished first.

Im going to leave it like this for a while. Im not worried about it getting stained...

I think it looks good. I am thinking about having the Paxton sent somewhere to be polished this winter. That would be the only polished item under my hood. I think it will look good.

I assume the surface is currently in pretty good shape, so it shouldn't be too bad. Pm me a pic of exactly what you'd be looking for.

Looks good!!!! Maybe you could do something with the valve covers and make them look brushed too. That would be pure sex!

What setting? Has there been any editing?

I don't know why... but they look really good for that lens and body. I myself have the XS and I don't think I have ever gotten pics that good with the kit lens except for my most recent shoot.

thanks man, but I always really like your shots!

I don't recall, but I will check what setting I used when I get home. I changed the setting several times due to different lighting.

I did some editing too with LR. Nothing too major, mostly messin with the priority...I like the effect it gives when shooting cars.

Digging the new sig, btw.

So you were in Manual I am guessing? You can right click on the originals and go into properties and it should have all the info like shutter speed, iso, apeture, focal length, ect.

It may be the LR editing that gives it the "different" factor I am noticing. Would you mind posting one of the original, non edited ones?

I promise I am not trying to call you out on editing... just really curious about how you got that look/feel.

Thanks on the sig... figured it was time for a change.
