Psht I make the drive from school to home, a distance of 25 miles, on 'low fuel' all the time. I hop in the right lane and set cruise control at 60, for hyper mileage!

yeah i think you have 40 miles to empty when it says 0. we were driving our dodge deisle 50 miles with a race trailor on the back in the pouring rain. the 1st truckstop was under maintainance and we woulda had to wait 2 hours and we were spuddering when we reached the next one. i was figuring we were done for but we coasted on into the pump.

its scary when you 800 miles from home, gas light comes on for the first time ever and you have 20+ miles to the next station lol

and dont have any idea how long its goes on E, had that happen on the way to mustang week lol

Not scary, but annoying when your brother calls and asks how long your car can go when the needle is on empty, then calls a few minutes later because he ran out of gas

This is also why I have the gasbuddy app on my phone

I've run it down to 1 mile to empty before...pretty scary with 4.10's and cams...
I seriously doubt there's 40 miles left in it when it says 0...when my car barely gets like 200 to a tank (probably less).
Thanks for the kind words about the interior...it's mostly stock except the shifter, shift light, pedals, and suede door panels. And the Steeda sticker that was there when I bought it...but I like it!

In most modern vehicles when the Low Fuel light comes on you have ~2 gallons left. If you figure you're getting 17 miles to the gallon (that would be great if I was getting 17 mpg) you figure you have 34 miles left on your tank.
