I didn't place in anything, but since no imports showed up, they gave me a trophy anyways... 1st place Import

Yeah... But I thought it was about what was most appealing to the eye? The Mach 1 was 100% perfect, but I thought my car was more eye catching than the other 2.

yeah, your car looks good but a rough crowd. The cars beside you were killer, you weren't going to walk in and get a trophy against that competition. But your car is very nice. The wheels and tires put it over the top!

My only question is "1st place import"?? WTF??

There were only 4 cars including mine in the Mustang class... One of the cars was a very clean ugly Mustang... It had beautiful paint, but it wasn't eye catching. The Mach deserved 1st place so I thought I would get second case the blue Mustang I took a picture of wasn't clean at all.

He was just there to show off... Didn't even enter the car in. He is our local celebrity... Ever heard of Eddie Hill? He held a few drag racing and boat racing records for awhile now.

As for the trophy, I was going to tell them I'd rather not even get one. (no one entered in a few of the classes.)

for the record when I say they "put it over the top" I mean that in a good way...as in it looked good anyway but those wheels and tires make it even more attractive.

kind of like JLO, she's cute already, but the booty puts her over the top...LOL

Thanks man... I get a lot of mixed reviews from the Mustang crowd about them. Sometimes I do wish I would have went with black faces though!

I went back and looked at that GT engine pic again...it's like one big ass supercharger and nothing else is needed...LOL

Thats how I felt when I went to my first car show but people have different taste than you..

True. Its all a big let down... Bust you ass cleaning the fuck out of the car to not even get a trophy. I'll pass I guess... It was for a really good cause. They got like 30 toys and over like 500$ for the Toys-4-Tots thing.

Usually the classics win, just the majority of the crowds interest. The only car shows around here are classic only.
