Well ive moved on to Mustang number 6, Picked it up from a local guy in orlando Did quite a bit of work to the car in the last few days swapping parts, wheels and fixing a few things so today after its first wash i snapped some pictures...

Little run down of the car:

1997 Pacific Green Cobra 5-Spd

04 cobra irs, ftbr bushings, bilelet flow brace, 4.10s, o/r x pipe, magnaflow catback, imrc deletes, under drive pulleys, king cobra clutch, tri ax shifter, tubular sub frame connectors, caster camber plates, eibach front swaybar, h&r race springs, silver deep dish fr500s, 3" wheel studs, brembo front pads... X cal 3 with vmp tune...

Few pics after IRS was installed.





And i had a extra cobra badge laying around so i hacked up my stock horse bracket and made me a cobra grill emblem so i could save the $30 rather then buy the aftermarket piece.




As you can tell from a "Dry" pic of the car the clear coat on the RR 1/4, pass door, pass fender and pass side of the hood is starting to come up so the car will need to be painted but for the price i couldn't beat it.

Picked it up for nearly half KBB Value in the condition its in and mileage it has. Car looked rought when i picked it up but after two weeks of changing stuff around and alot of cleaning it is what it is in these pics. Still a long ways from clean imo lol and hopefully i can find someone to give me a nice paint job thats not going to break the bank come mid 2012.

Started to part it out after I got laid off, then when I got to a bare shell I chopped it up with a sawzal and scrapped it, then kept most of the money but bought a 94gt for 1k... After driving the 94 for the last year it was dieing just as I was starting to make good money again so im parting out the 94 right now and just got the shell hauled off... Some kinda home made boost for the cobra is in store this coming year I hope

Not like I choose to switch cars when you loose your job and you have a 96 mustang daily and your 98 5.4 supercharged cars sitting there and you know its worth money and your running out of money for food bills etc you do what you gota do, the 94 was just a lemon every week it needed somthing and for a thousand dollar car that was nothing but a hassle for the year I drove it I didn't think twice about parting it out.... This car aint going anywher anytime soon, expecially since its my daily

I didn't take it negativly, Just figured id put it out there why i did what i did over the past few years. Alot of people don't know why i parted out the 98 and just think im crazy. Believe me if i didn't need the cash i would have kept it. Shitty part is after i had the blower and a few other good parts sold i had already got a job but since i already started moving parts and the parts were selling faster then i could get them off the damn car i just kept rolling with it.

Then bought this 94, Biggest mistake i made and it really was a lemon so stripped it as well just to make some extra cash to pay back the money lent to me to pick up the cobra.

And thanks, hopefully next year i can get some paint sprayed on it...

How was the irs swap? I have been curious about doing one for a while now.

BTW, my wife had that interior in her speedster. You would be amazed at how much cleaner it looks with black carpet in it. As a matter of fact now that I think about it, I bought her black carpet from you.

Some two tone door panels would look nice too. (Why yes, I do have some for sale in the classifieds....)
