You should photoshop a couple of howling wolves in front of this and then make a t-shirt out of it...

Nevermind, I just photoshopped a couple of howling wolves into this picture for you so you can just put this picture on t-shirts and send me 50% of the profits...

(the wolves are sized to scale so they may be a little difficult to see)

Anyway, most of the space pics are around 630mm focal length @ F 5.9. Keep in mind I had 5" diameter apochromatic triplet refractor. The image scale is 1.8 arcseconds a pixel in full res (if anyone gives a fuck

) Also the images are a combination of many 10 minute exposures while moving at exact sidereal rate. Combining the exposures increases signal to noise ratio.

M-31 our sister galaxy. 4 panel mosiac aquired over a nearly 3 month period. Each panel has about 3 hours of data.

Jump in anytime. I didn't intend for this to be just about space or anything else. Peoples pics show their interest and a view into their personality. I just like looking at pictures and examining their contents, expressions, yada, yada. I'm interested in seeing stuff from others.

I guess I'll just start picking through random shots... bear in mind I'm no photography buff like so many people here have become or are... a lot of these shots come from little point and shoots, the older ones from an old 4.1mp Fuji... and are quite often shot through the windshield of a bouncing Mack truck rolling down the highway at 65 mph... with one hand... without me so much as looking at the display to compose the shot, because I was keeping my eyes on the road. Other shots are just random crap from either my life on the road, or here around the house, vacations, etc.

Thank you. I've gotten lucky a few times to get a shot that was cool. Everyone who has been at the right place at the right time has taken a cool shot. Thats the beauty of photography, you get the shot or you don't regardless of skill level.
