Painted carbon fiber hoods?

Hey has anybody painted their carbon fiber hoods and put a stripe on them? I just got a new mustang and I love the look of it but I think I want to paint and stripe the hood. I'm just curious what you guys think it will look like. Anyone have pictures???

Not exactly sure what you mean. Carbon fiber hoods can be painted but then they just look like regular hoods. So I mean if you paint a carbon fiber hood with a stripe on it, it's just going to look like a normal hood.

I believe he may be referring to leaving a CF stripe that won't be covered in paint???

I have a CF cowl hood but its painted black to match....

I like the look of a CF hood that is painted on top, but the fiber is revealed when you pop the hood.

I have a CF cowl hood but its painted black to match....

if so then i wouldn't want it as a stripe...however if it's a cowl i like that look. there's a local cobra that's sonic blue with a 4" CF cowl and the center isn't painted....i love that look

Sorry guys, I am on vacation and havent been able to check the forum for responses. To clarify, I'm wanting to paint my carbon fiber hood the color of the rest of my car and then stripe it as well. Essentially, making it look stock (for the exception of the bad ass vents). What would be a good price to paint and stripe the hood ?
