My Other..."Cars"
I have been collecting these for almost two years now. All the ones in the pictures are 1:18 and 1:24 scale. I just got my first 1:12 scale but some cars it came with were wrong so once I get everything straightend out, I'll keep posting pictures of my cars. I have about $3,000 invested so far. The cases for the 1:18 scale are $90 each, and $40 for the 1:24 scale cars. The sad part is the guy no longer makes these custom cases so I guess I will do nice wooden ones.

I don't know the exact amount but I will count later. I just got 6 in the mail but I have to return 2 of them. At Sams Club, the big ones are $12 each. Those same ones online and at the flea market are $30.

I'm surprised you don't know the count. Ever think about just one particular model or one particular make? I see quite a collection. I see Audi, Corvette, Volkswagen, etc.

114 total. Yeah I used to keep track till I got my 2000 Mustang GT lol. Yeah I thought about only collecting certain ones, but I love cars in general. If I did only get certain ones, it would be less expensive, but oh well. I do know some people that only have 20 or so but each one is top of the line brands and over $100 a piece. I'm not into top of the line brands because if I see one I like, I'll just get it because I like the car, not because I know it is coming from the best brand. When it comes to my actual Mustang though, I'm opposite because I would rather wait a paycheck and buy the best parts rather than getting something cheaper.

Nice collection! I casually collect Mustangs and classic Mopars when I happen to be out and see one in the store.

I've got a lot of 1:24s that I use to play in a sandbox with then went to collecting 1:18s and started out playing with them but just display them now. Have over 100+ of the 1:18s but don't buy as often anymore since I started buying the more expensive brands. Have 4 cars that were over about $115 a piece. It's an expensive hobby but I love it. And I have one 1:12 put together Shelby. All in all probably close to 200 not counting the 1,000 something hotwheels.

Went and checked yesterday, for one case for one car it is 16bucks...so the guy who I orginally bought them from was wayyyy cheaper. I'll make my own and still come out cheaper.

I'll keep that in mind and the ones in the pharmacy that I see are the brand Maisto.
