Well since today's weather is disgustingly beautiful (57ºF on January 30th, in Nebraska, INSANITY!!!) I decided to take some photos, wash the car, and just in general enjoy my car again.

Photos taken with a Pentax K-R using the stock 18-55mm lens at 100 ISO. I know shooting INTO the sun is a big no-no, but I kinda like the glistening effect. And of course taking photos late in the day is also a no-no. I DEFY THEE LAWS OF PHOTOGRAPHY!!!

Car looks great, man. Pretty nice shots you got there. Watch out for shadows and try to keep the whole car in the frame unless you're going for a detail shot!

Your car is underexposed in the shots where the sun is back-lighting it, those can be tossed, haha. Turn your car around next time

Thanks for the comments. A lot of these photos were adjusted because the photo as a whole was really overexposed (almost white washed). I still have the original RAW (PEF) files that I can play around with. I'm not sure I have the "eye" to correct them properly.

I do like photos 6, and 14 and 15 (the last 2). Yeah, the car is a bit dark, but I think they are cool photos. The second to last photo is my new desktop

As for the full frame and all that, I'll do that next time around. I'm still working my way around the camera settings and the "proper" way to photograph. Just learning by example of other photos and a little bit of reading and of course what little experience I gain by messing up lots
