Yeah I can't wait to see some of those shots.

Spyshot 101.

1. Turn any loud beeps you have on your camera, off.

2. Practice holding the camera and taking shots without looking through the lcd/viewfinder. I actually got a lot of practice at this because a lot of the shots I take on the road are taken while I'm driving, and I don't look through the viewfinder or at the lcd display while doing so.
So you can hold the camera beside your leg, or lean on a tree/post, with the camera in your hand, and already on, and have it aimed at an area you see the car *coughgirl* about to walk in to.

3. I always bring a folding chair in a bag deal with me to events. Sit in the chair, rest the camera on your leg, already on, and you can get good pics that way. It's not just handy for perverted spy shots, it's good for the type of show like this one was, where cars are constantly driving up and down the street. I can just hold the camera on my leg, keep my finger on the button, and snap away. a few of those car pics I took that way.

4. Try not to feel too perverted while doing so.


One of these days I'll get a hotty pic with my car. Maybe at Hooters or something. lol
Thx for the nice words on the car. It was a bitch constantly wiping the grease from that F'n bbq near me off it, if you read that part in the thread here. Musta wiped the car down 10 times. Not to mention the smell of my car was making me insanely hungry. Steak on a Mustang burger FTW! lol

I always leave my camera on auto, and it's always daytime when I take shots, since my camera sucks at night shots, so it never goes off. Only my pants accidentally go off. lol

96Snaker hereby swears to practice Zip's technique come my brother and I's car show in a few weeks. Young owner's class. Me, 23 years old, proud owner of a 96 cobra. My lil' bro, 18 years old, happily drives an Eddie Bauer edition 95 Bronco equipped with a 351W under the hood. So we'll be in our lawn chairs all day. Good time for spy-shots, lol. I just hope his truck doesn't beat my car!

lol yeah I got my leg a couple times there. And I learned the lawn chair rule after attending my first large event. Standing there all day with nowhere to sit sucks large. lol
