The whole bottom part snaps out. It's one big plastic piece all the way to up by the bottom of the stereo.

if you pull on it, it'll come out, you did unscrew the shift knob also right? Just don't try to be too abusive with it and it won't break...

Lightly prying on it, and pulling up & out, should remove it without breaking it. Just becareful, and make sure you removed the Shift knob. And disconnect the A/C Lighter wire connector, that is if you plan on pulling the whole thing away to take a good clear picture.
