Figured you may enjoy seeing whats running up here in the rust belt
This is the local website's track day. 42 cars. Some of the fastest were
the white ranger 10:05, the white camaro 10:20, the Coronet 10.00, two DSMs ran
9s, The stangs wer all over the place 13s, 12s etc. I ran a 13.87, my bud
ran a 13.79 in my car (blue fairlane). Its a pretty good mix of people, lots
of imports but no ricer fucktards. I used to hate everything without a
blue oval on it. These days I can appreciate my buddy's 11.47sec EVO
VIII. Not gonna buy one but it demands some respect.
The Merkur ran 14s but it was a fresh reassembly and had some wasteegate issues or something.

Bein g an SRT guy, you know a guy goes by Das Mopar?

His name is Lon, forget his last.

I guess he had the fastest SRT 4 in the US for a little while. He has the white car now says DAS ACR on the plate. His red car (not shown) was his race car. He helped put on this track day at Norwalk OH

i cant help but laugh whenever i see a car with slicks on the front and skinnies on the back

I know but it sucks twice as bad if they pass you

The yellow car is solid 11.0XXs with a stock bottom end.
If its running its being beat on.

I like Mustangs Sooooo much better but the SRT is a pretty stout car.
My wife's 99 Neon is a steaming pile of head gasket blowing shit though.

yeah, nothing against the cars themselves, its just funny to me to see the slicks on the front, since i have always grown up around rear wheel drive cars
