lol vfast, what can I say, I don't have an 8 wheel multi differential lock on our big truck....or on my Grand Marquis.

hehe thx Dennis. Yeah ice storms suck large. We had one at home here Sunday while I was at work starting my week, and the wife said that we were without power for about a day.

10-4 on the photo-op excuse. lmao

Heh just locally within the county, it didn't go too far only running off of propane... ran out of gas once and had to call another guy just to fill the damn thing up... had air leaks like crazy too air compressor sounding like it's on it's last leg from being overworked lol... synchronizer finally went out in 3rd gear too and started just popping out of gear, man that truck was good for nothing but laughing at.

lmao I've driven my fair share of junk like that in my career. Fortunately Air Products takes pretty good care of our equipment and we don't have to deal with that as much.

lol, should've seen the replacement truck I had to drive when that pos was down, one day the while distributor cap blew to pieces while driving and just died (it ran off of propane too was a smaller f450 or some kind of crap, supposedly propane trucks blow distributor caps like that sometimes) I'm so glad I didn't get pulled over by DOT in the replacement truck or I would've got fined like hell for the way the tanks were placed in there...

Yes there is always a bigger truck somewhere. Some of that mining equipment is amazing as well. Either way, an 80 ton 50 foot long wrecker blasting through a snowbank was a cool sight. lol

If I didn't have a family, I would consider it not for the money, but just for the experience. That would be way cool. But I've put my time in doing long distance stuff, and being away from the family for weeks on end, so I like being home every week now. +they pay me fairly well to haul the rocket fuel I transport now. I bet you could find some ice roaders that wouldn't want to touch what we do. lol

Haha true, when I used to haul propane around guys in other trucks with bread and coke and crap looked at me like I was crazy and said "Man, you're driving a bomb!" lol... I know what you mean by people being scared of driving hazardous materials... then when it gets really hot and the tanks start popping off lol people start freaking out. lol, one time when I was training for the job my best friend was driving and the damn clutch cable broke. He had to turn the truck off and put it into gear start it and then it would rock like crazy because it was stalling and he had to slam the gas down and the tanks were popping off and a guy right beside us looks over and is like "Man, you guys are smoking!" We both looked at him crazy and hauled ass, I was thinking they thought we were terrorists or something from the way we acted... hahaha!
