Nice, I strayed from drag racing for a bit and raced carts. Asphalt thoh. I rolled my cart twice and my 1/2 scale truck once. I ran a briggs and stratten blue wazoom limited mod. That was about 10 years ago. I thought it would be a cheep way to race, boy was I wrong. I played around on dirt too. You really learn how to drive while racing carts. Short wheel base + slippery track = skilled driver

turbo: nice! wanna sell em? i also have a kt 100 and im looking at a yamaha R1 engine...know anything about em or should i stick with briggs and honda?

bMad: yeah little cars, not so little price. we were spending atleast 15,000 a year on racing...good thing it was tax deductable!

good for you zip. does she go trucking with you? i tried going with my dad a cuple times and i got kicked out of the plant. i had to wait outside while my dad picked up another load AND the passenger seat was not air ride equipped. it took a week for my back to forgive me lol.

She used to go with me years ago, but for the last 10 years I have been running team hauling a very dangerous product, so the company frowns on passengers that aren't trained in what we do.

Ah yes, the old back breaker jump seat. Good times. lol

haha yeah that seat is a killer. i should probably wear my karting rib protector when i go lol.

maintinence is a bitch too. i dont think we have ever come out of peterbuilt or CAT spending less than like 600 bucks! wtf! haha

lmao yes, class 8 maintenance is not cheap. I am so glad I do not own my own tractor anymore. Now when our tractor breaks down, we call a few phone numbers, and get paid by the hour while we wait for repairs to be completed. lol

And fortunately since I run team, I'm also glad we have 2 Bostrom air ride seats. lol

There's a few of my little sister's boyfriend's car (429ci) which I do a little work on from time to time. I frequent the pitts, especially after a rollover. Lots of fun, but I'm a pavement guy myself

i have to admit snaker, thats awsome! im working on getting into a modefied soon, but its taking forever.

sprint cars are my ultimate goal. i dont know though, they are just too damn sexy for me right now
