Rusty Metal

I am a big fan of Rustoleum Rusty metal primer. It contains fish oil, and soaks into the rust and makes it become inert. No more rusting...

I only use a brush and use the paint in the can, the spray dries before it reaches the surface, and the fish oil doesn't get the chance to do it's magic.

I have used it many times, and never had any problems. I have also heard of guys using naval jelly, but I will stick with the rusty metal primer.

I assumed you were not just going to spray the line X without first killing the rust. If not, just save your money because if you don't kill it, it will be back and then you will have to contend with the line X crap.

I was kidding about the linex. I am actually gonna sand the whole thing and then probably use POR
