Well I half stripped the car down that I had stored at a friends house and he turned around and sold the car out from under me for parts. The police don't want to get involved and I don't have the money for a civil attourney.

i used to have a 77 mustang II in high school. it was a hatchback though.....it did have a 302 with an edelbrock intake and carb, off set tires, and lifted in the back attempting to make it a little cooler. wish i still had it. now that i know so much more about working on cars it would be so much easier to hook it up.

I am sure you know him Chris. He frequents twr all the time. I just choose to stay away from the guy. I am better than that. Plus the motor in that car would have had to have new internals from what I could tell. (Bent rod)

nice looking garage and the sign rocks. Don't see too many of the II's around any more. There was one that was recently for sale and waited around too long and it sold for next to nothing - $1500. It was a 1 owner 77 or 78 302 auto with saddle leather interior, vinyl top and deep blue exterior. A very pretty car. The new owner took it to a car show the next week and walked away with a top trophy.

But hell I hated my body style mustang when they came out...I wanted a SN95...

I love my 2! I think the notchbacks look like mini versions of the 66 but with a little different front end. PLUS Did I mention, stripped they have a curb weight of just over 2000 pounds??? That makes me happy in teh pants.

2000 lbs? Woot woot! That sounds like alot of fun with a 300/330 powerplant. That little car would really scoot and surprise alot of folks. What are your plans for it? Keep us updated on that.
