2008 Viper SRT-10

I found these pics that I had forgotten I had on our camera until someone mentioned this viper in another thread, so I figured I'd post these up. My dad's friend is an engineer that was working on parts for the Viper SRT-10, and since he commutes from Toledo to Detroit everyday (a 45 min drive), the company asked him to test drive a few of the production models, since he drove so far so often. There were only 8 of these made at the time he brought this car over to my house, they were using the 8 of them for testing and car shows.

So anyway, thought I'd share them, since I've got the time...

Took a while to get these uploaded and resized, the original pictures are 2848x2132 pixels (1Mb each), lol, a little too big for web pages...

No, I didn't get to drive it, only got to sit in it and rev it a little,

So yeah, I went a little trigger happy with the camera, I'm sure I have a vid, but I need to find it first...

Yeah, a wee bit more power than my little sixer...

haha we had some of these 08's come through the dealership a couple times this past summer. Man they are soo awsome. i love them. I felt so cool putting washer fluid in it and putting the pastic seat covers over it and mats on the floor. haha. I just sat in it for like 2 minutes and took tons of pictures on my phone. lol. The seats were soo comfy.

They were always in for oil changes. and then one needed a new wiper motor which is 500.00 a piece. Yikes.

yeah, i went into the dodge dealership here that has one on the showroom floor with cash, and a check for the rest, and they also have the 06 coupe still sitting there they havnt sold. they wouldnt sell it for MSRP, they wanted another $2K... WTF not making a $90K sale to get another 2G's. fuck them.

i love that car though, ill have one as soon as i can kind one for MSRP.

i want blue with white stripes though.

Looks to me like they are getting carried away with those damn heat extractors and louvers... Almost ricey!
